The mechanical characteristics of the seat

The Synchron mechanism

The Synchron mechanism, among the most advanced and high-performance on the market, allows the backrest and seat to move in a synchronized manner with a 1:2.5 ratio: a 1° tilt of the seat corresponds to a 2.5° tilt of the backrest. It has four locking positions and a knob for swing adjustment according to the user’s body weight.

4 locking positions
90° angle between torso and legs always maintained
“Anti-shock” system that prevents the violent and involuntary return of the backrest
The self-weighting mechanism is synchronized and self-adjusts according to the weight of the user
The mechanism has only one lever: pulling out/inserting the lever unlocks/locks the mechanism, while turning the lever adjusts the height of the seat

The gas piston

It is the component that allows the seat height to be adjusted while simultaneously making the seat cushioned. This gas pump is inserted into the 5-spoke base and, at the other end, into the swing plate housing.

Black in color, it matches the structure and base of Comoda.
