In March we had the privilege of providing new furniture for the canteen at the Carabinieri Cadet School in Rome.
The peculiarity of the building designed in 1951, now used as a Carabinieri canteen, is that it has an unobstructed floor plan because the entire roof rests on perimeter pillars supporting six prestressed beams covering a span of about forty meters. The interior space is thus free from central pillars, making it also a study destination for students from architecture and engineering faculties
Formar Contract provided no. 432 chairs and no. 72 tables for the Student area, no. 114 chairs and no. 19 tables for the Permanent Framework area.
Aluminum and polycarbonate frame screens were also installed.
